FAQs
- How long does the process take?
- How do I get my flowers to you?
We accept orders from all over the U.S! Visit the Shipping your Flowers page for detailed instructions. We also offer Re-creations, where your bouquet is replicated with fresh flowers from our local florist. This eliminates the need to ship your flowers and ensures that we receive them in excellent condition! Visit the Re-creations page for details.
- Do you use all of my flowers?
We probably won't use ALL of the flowers that you send us. When your bouquet arrives, we will go through and select the best quality flowers to press. After pressing, we carefully select the very best flowers to fit the frame size and design style you've selected.
- How long will my custom piece last?
Your flowers will fade some over time. Even during the initial process of pressing your flowers, the colors will change. We do not use any preservatives or dyes in the preservation process. We highly recommend keeping your finished piece out of direct sunlight and avoiding humid areas (ex. the bathroom).
All of our framed pieces come with 99% UV resistant glass.
- What flowers can't be pressed?
We will take a swing at whatever flowers you send us. In our experience, there are a few things we would prefer to avoid:
- Can pictures/ribbons/etc be added to my framed piece?
In short, no. Please do not send us anything other than your flowers. If you'd like for us to consider an exception, please reach out to us with your request via contact@berniesbouquets.com
